Gnome Home

W. made this gnome home out of smooth beach pebbles and little driftwood pieces we gathered previously at the shore. I placed the glue on the rocks for him, and he built it. He used leaf litter from the woods to make the 'yard'.  I had hoped we could make a gnome to go in the house, but ended up using an old yoda figurine.

Natural History Museum and Planetarium Field Trip

One of our field trips this past spring was to the Cleveland Museum of Natural History and Planetarium. It was a very nice trip. The boys loved the fantastic dinosaur room. We even found that Balto makes his final home there. There is a very educational display of seismic activity around the world.
